"The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures as advertised! They say they are under new management and they do have a lot of remodeling going on but still… not the same! The front desk staff and security is friendly, housekeeping and maintenance take forever to respond to calls IF THEY RESPOND AT ALL. The rooms don’t have washcloths. I changed rooms 4 times, 3 of those a because of issues with my tv ( I couldn’t change the channel because of the remote or internet connection). The pool water is green and the tiki bar is taped off. The gym has 5 items in it, one of which doesn’t even have a plug to it and the sauna is out of order until further notice. The rooms are clean though and spacious. Most have a at least a microwave and some a fridge as well from what I can tell. They do sell dinners in the bar area and the gift shop is open sometimes. "

"Upon check-in, one of the rooms was in an appalling and clearly unacceptable condition. The sheets had visible blood and semen stains, there was a cockroach on the floor, and the room smelled strongly of urine. I brought this to the front desk’s attention and was given a full refund for that room, which I appreciate. However, that refund meant my teenage son and teenage nephew had to stay in my room for the entire seven nights. My room itself was also not properly cleaned: it had a strange odor and was noticeably dirty. After traveling for 20 hours from Michigan, we were exhausted and hoping to rest, but instead I had to immediately clean the room and wash the bedding myself. Because of this, I had to spend approximately $50 on cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and other items, as well as pay to wash all the bedding. In addition, we were required to purchase toilet paper for our room, which is a basic amenity that should be provided at no extra cost. While I understand this is an extended-stay property, the environment during our stay was extremely concerning. I personally witnessed multiple drug deals and loud, disturbing altercations occurring near the main entrance. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told it was “a personal matter,” which did nothing to reassure me as a guest about my family’s safety and comfort. Because it was spring break, it was very difficult to find alternative accommodations that were both available and reasonably priced, we stayed."
