"This small cabin is clean, comfortable, and close to Packwood for easy access to the nearby river, the town, and local restaurants. don't miss Mountain Goat Coffee and Cruiser's, a pretty good pizza and burger restaurant.There are two comfy bedrooms, one has twin beds, and a modern bathroom, all comfortably air-conditioned. A hot tub on the front porch looks inviting but we didn't use it as it was too hot.And GREAT proximity to Rainier entrances and the area hiking is spectacular esp. in July when wildflowers are exploding. It was really nice to see an elk in the neighborhood on the last day. I highly recommend this place, and Will replied to every inquiry quickly with helpful info. Thanks, Will."

"We stayed 4 nights on a family vacation. The cabin is nicely located between Mount St. Helen and Mount Rainier NP. After long days of hiking, the hot tub felt very soothing. Would stay there again"

"This was a cute little place, off the main road enough to feel like it was in the sticks but not so far that it actually was; it’s really only about a 3-minute drive from the main part of town and very close to the grocery store in case you need a few forgotten things. Location in relation to Mt. Rainier was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for better. The cabin is a bit old which is fine except for two things: the first was the dishwasher. It might’ve mentioned it in the listing, but we either didn’t remember or didn’t look. The dishwasher does not work and we did not want to wash a bunch of dishes for our group, but running to the grocery store to buy paper products was quick and easy. The other was the creaky floors. The bedroom is right under the loft and every time someone in the loft bed moved the floor creaked and was much louder in the bedroom. With four giggling girls in the loft and my own creaking bed I had a very poor night’s sleep. I’m not a great sleeper on trips like this anyway and what is to be done about creaky beds and floors? If you can sleep anywhere and bring some ear plugs, you should have no problem. If you sleep in the loft or the sofa bed you’ll also need an eye mask if morning light bothers you since there are no curtains. The awesome thing about this place was the woods - we had 4 11-yr old girls and they loved to explore those lovely woods, they had such a hard time leaving them, even for Mt Rainier!"

"A cute, comfortable, and clean little cabin in a quiet setting with beautiful peek-a-boo views of the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed the peace and the hot tub immensely, and really appreciated the recommendations shared by the owner. A great home base for our daily adventures! Not too far to walk to town if you're so inclined. Would choose again!"

"We stayed here during a quick Rainer trip. It was a last minute booking but such a fun one. It’s secluded but in an ideal location for access to MRNP. The Teepee is very nice inside, they put out additional cots and had heating and a fan inside if needed. The bathroom and shower were clean and perfect. There’s a fridge and some cooking items with a kitchens but we didn’t have time to use them. Best part was the hot tub just outside the teepee. Our kids loved the nature paths and experience of staying in nature. Would definitely come back but I would want to stay in the cabins they also have on property, they looked amazing!"
