« Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. « We stayed in off season. When we arrived at 4 pm, nobody was there. Another guest let us know the keys were just behind a flower box. Got in, lovely room, clean, with plenty of amenities. Good water pressure. My only wish would be that they provide wash cloths, as well as towel racks or some form of hanging and drying our towels. There not a single hook or rack in the entire room. « The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. « We stayed for 3 nights at the White Swan. We booked at 2 days notice, and got the last room available, so I wasn’t surprised that it was quite a smallish room, but very very clean and comfortable. Breakfast - the Northumbrian - was magnificent, setting us up for a full days walking with no room or need for lunch.
