"A lovely gem walkable to town in one direction and other hotels (especially Spring House where you can cocktail on the lawn) in the other direction. Having a room with a balcony was a plus for gorgeous breezes. But we forewarned, bathrooms are tiny."

Walk the path to Andy's Way in 1 minute or walk a little longer (10 minutes) to Mansion Beach or relax on the deck and enjoy the view of the Great Salt Pond and incredible sunsets. Keith was always available to answer questions or help with logistics. The pictures in the listing are accurate, it's not fancy, but if you want fancy what are you doing on Block Island? "
"I just stayed at the Blue Dory on Friday July 11th. I cant wait to stay again. My room was on the 3rd fl which I didn't mind. There is a fire door at the top of the stairs that swings all the way open and my adorable room was at the end of the hallway. The room was so clean, bathroom was perfect and included a jetted tub. The lotion and hand soap they use smells amazing. There is lovely scent throughout the house. My bed was very comfortable the host was so easy to communicate with and so friendly. They also offer breakfast and wine and cheese appetizer hour. The breakfast was located in the basement and they had everything you could think of. Excellent stay and will definitely be back. "
