« The home was very charming and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. which made it easy to prepare meals. The fenced-in backyard was secure, lovely, and a perfect spot for my dogs to play and for me to relax :-) »

« Harker House was small but clean and comfortable. The pros are the updated large bathroom, comfortable beds, heat and AC. The kitchen was okay for us because we ate out but the lack of stove and seating might be a problem for others. The location is on main in a small town so there is a busy restaurant across the street (very good mexican food) and a bar two doors down. But it is also within walking distance to the Fort Harker Museum which my husband enjoyed. The host was very responsive to our...

« We spent graduation weekend in Great Bend. This was actually our 2nd stay at this house. We have enjoyed both visits! Nice, quaint little house. Host is great with communication. No issues at all! I’m sure we will stay again as we have lots of family in town and this sure beats a hotel! »

« This is a nice older home near downtown. The cleanliness was ok but there were sheets left in the dryer and some unfolded towels in the closet. The owner was very great. We were in town with an Ill relative and needed to stay a day longer and he was very polite and informative. He was also quick to respond. »

« The home was in great condition and the perfect place to rest up after a long day birding. Located approximately 15 minutes from Cheyenne Bottoms and 40 minutes from Quivira, it’s a welcomed retreat at the end of the day. The home is as described and offers updated amenities with an historic charm. I highly recommend it and will stay there during future visits to the area. »
