"My friends and I made the short drive up from the Cities for a weekend away and could not have been more pleased with our stay at Zach and Betsy’s home. The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway!"

"I stayed for an extended period of time. The owner and his sons live on the property, but you won’t see them very much. The property is SO peaceful, quiet, and safe. They’ve been working to improve it and so there’s some renovations and things here and there, but nothing that would make you uncomfortable or disturb you. "This was a great location for a long girls weekend. Really nice space outdoors to enjoy and 2 comfortable beds with comfortable living space to relax in. (If you need to have adults sleep on the pull out/futon or bunk beds it may not be as comfy for bad backs ect- but the space is there if you need it) Really easy access and the long sloped sidewalk down to the unit made it easy to bring in luggage on wheels. "The home is beautiful Really no complaints I stayed with all of my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and they were so accommodating for everyone the owner is super nice and there backyard is perfect for pictures and the hot tub was a huge plus! Only complaint was there was no microwave haha but they do have a toster over that worked fine :) Just keep in mind also the owners do live upstairs but were quiet and kept to there self"

The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock."

"Awesome property with exceptional amenities. We spent a lot of time in the enclosed porch which was wonderful since it rained in the evening. We play cards so didn’t take advantage of the many TV areas. The movie room downstairs is unbelievable. The owner was very nice and responded quickly to any queries."

"Mother/Daughter trip and everything was great. Perfect location for anything downtown Stillwater. Minimal traffic noise but sound machine in the bedroom. Parking pass given and could park out front. We rented bikes next door and enjoyed the trails. Inside the loft was cozy and original walls were cool. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back!"
