« This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend. »

« It was a wonderful cabin in the woods. Super quaint and super clean. We'd definitely recommend and we will return. The only thing that was a small problem was, it is pet friendly BIT there is really nowhere much to walk your dog (at least where we were). »

« Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

« We had a wonderful stay at this whimsical little getaway! It was very cute and well stocked. Our kids really loved the little rock slide in the creek, the hot tub, and the place had great toys and books out for our use. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are less than 15 minutes away! « The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination. »

« My partner and I really enjoyed staying at this place for the 2 nights we are in town. Has amazing views and wild life all over. Wild turkeys and cute little bears and racoons (: Highly recommend. Only issue I had that was more of a personal problem because of my height (I'm 6'6") is that I couldn't fit in either beds (they're full size) so if you are tall like me, I'd recommend bringing an airmatress, or what I did was just take out the couch bed and put the cushions together and sleep on them. »

« Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. An old or very small dog could struggle. Ours were...

« We loved the location of the house. It was a quick drive in to Asheville, and we were very excited that you could walk out of the door and be only a five-minute walk from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house itself was comfortably furnished, and the hot tub was great. The kitchen has the basics in terms of cooking implements, but guests need to bring their own staples. »

« It was a nuce quiet hotel but really close to the road. The view was nice as long as you were looking out or up from the balcony. We were able to see Chimney Rock and the waterfall from the balcony. The campground across the street was a little rickety but our hotel was cute and nice. The beds were super comfy but with good support. The vintage looking mini fridge and microwave was a really cute touch. »
