The space

Welcome to The Logandale, your home away from home in the heart of Chicago's hip Avondale/Logan Square neighborhood. This spacious, 3500 sq. ft. mid-century modern haven is designed with your ultimate comfort and enjoyment in mind. 🏡🌃

Our home boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 15 guests. The sleeping arrangements include a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed, three full beds, two futons, a couch, and a queen air mattress. Each bed is equipped with a memory foam mattress, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. 🛏️💤

The open floor plan of the main living area is perfect for socializing and relaxing. The living room features modern and clean finishes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for you and your group. The fully-equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, complete with a coffee bar featuring a Keurig and French Press, a wet bar with a wine fridge, and all the utensils and appliances you need to whip up a meal. 🛋️🍽️☕🍷

Downstairs, the vibrant basement is a hub of fun and entertainment. Challenge your friends to a game on the Pac Man arcade machine or the foosball table. The basement also offers additional sleeping space, making it an ideal spot for larger groups. 🎮⚽

Step outside to the private patio and backyard, where you can enjoy the fresh air and Chicago's city vibes. The backyard features a full outdoor seating set, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Get competitive with a game of bags (cornhole) or unwind by the cozy fire pit. For your convenience, our home includes a spacious 2-car garage. Please note that large cars, SUVs, or trucks will not fit. The property is secured with keyless smart locks, allowing for easy and secure access during your stay. 🚗🔑

I wish I could comment on my stay but there was not one. I contacted the property owner the day before we were scheduled to arrive to see when I would obtain the access code to the property. The owner replied rather quickly and stated that due to security reasons, I would receive the code the day I was to arrive. I found that different since I have always gotten the access codes to other properties I rented days in advance. Those codes would only work during a specific rental period so there were no issues with receiving them early. I accepted that I would receive the code the day of arrival since the owner replied quickly. We went to the property two hours before the scheduled check-in time to ensure that we could find it. I sent the property owner a message stating that we were looking forward to our stay. After lunch, we headed to the property again, and again I sent the owner a message stating that we were five minutes away; no reply. We sat outside the property, and I rang the doorbell several times and called MULTIPLE times; no reply/no answer. After an hour, we contacted Vrbo and they quickly tried to contact the property owner and the property owner did not answer their calls. Vrbo immediately started the process of finding us a place. We went from having a 4-bedroom, house to having 3 hotel rooms, on 3 different floors. Not to mention that we missed dinner and half of the ballgame we had paid for. Vrbo support was great!

House in Great location

Very nice place in a great location, walking distance to a ton of grocery stores and restaurants. Off street parking for 3 cars. A bathroom on every floor was super. Nice well equipped big kitchen. Comfy beds. Having the video game and other big games downstairs was really fun. The outside patio with the fire pit was also a great bonus. The only downside was that the twin beds listed did not have sheets for them and the air mattress was not functional. However, when we told the manager about it he did order new ones that day but we had to wait 2 days to get them. But Overall, we had a great stay.

This place is amazing!

First of all, the actual place is great, with plenty of space for a family to spread out. The garage is a major convenience, so there is no need to mess with on-street parking, and it's conveniently located near an EL stop. We were able to park the car and spend the days exploring the city, and the large dining area and great kitchen are prefect for meals in. Plus the tabletop video game setup has Dig Dug! The owner is also very responsive, and communications and check in went great. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic house for large group!

We had a wonderful stay for a 14 person bachelorette party! Chic property with enough room for everyone, difficult to find in Chicago. Very modern and new updates, easy uber ride to many parts of the city, very close to Logan Square! Would recommend!
