Bon point de chute
Nous avions réservés cet hôtel au regard des photos et commentaires. La première chambre était quperbe pais à côté de la route. Pour des citadins, que nous ne sommes pas, c'est bien. Mais nous avons demandé à changer et sans aucun problème nous avons eu une autre chambre, très correcte. Le personnel est gentil et le cadre superbe.

Hôtel très accueillant et tellement charmant !
Le personnel est d'une gentillesse inégalable et d'une efficience irréprochable, pas une seule fausse note. L'hôtel est en bordure de route mais dès que vous entrez à l'intérieur, c'est certain, vous êtes ailleurs. Le calme et le dépaysement sont au rdv. L'établissement reste malgré tout un peu éloigné du centre (il vous faudra 5 à 8 min de tuk-tuk (tjr devant l'hôtel) ou de scooter pour y accéder) par contre il est à seulement 10 min de l'aéroport. Nous retiendrons un très bon souvenir du Rim Resort et de Chiang Mai. Merci à toute l'équipe sans qui ce séjour n'aurait pas été le même.

Un très bel établissement typique, du personnel charmant, accueillant. A proximité de la vielle ville, mais au calme, la piscine et le bar sont un havre de paix, les chambres spacieuses et cosy. A recommander absolument.

Confortable hotel, personnel agréable et prévenant. Bon petit déjeuner. Grande chambre et salle de bain. Literie tout confort. Bien placé même s'il est situé a l'ouest de la vieille ville. Possibilité de louer des bicyclettes, ou se rendre au Coeur de la vieille ville en tuk tuk.

très moyen
de passage sur chang Mae pour une nuit, j'avais choisi cet hôtel en toute confiance. Très déçu car l'hôtel est au bord de la route, donc très bruyant, chambre avec une literie très dure, douche qui passe de bouillant à très froid, coffre fort qui ne fonctionne pas puis pas de courant. On nous change de chambre à 23h donc normalement pour mieux, on se retrouve dans une chambre coté route, la vue sur la piscine a disparue!!! Après avoir dormi entre le bruit et sur un lit très dur, petit déjeuné en terrasse mais pour le coup en bord de route et pas très copieux.

Hôtel de dépannage !
Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous étions bien contentes de partir ! Sur les transats il y avait des algues preuve que personne ne les utilisent, la chambre sentait le renfermé et le vieux, il y avait des tâches de moisi sur le mur à côté des wc, également un petit lézard qui se baladait sur le plafond à notre arrivée. Ce n'est pas forcément le meilleur hôtel de la ville mais le personnel était tout de même agréable seul point positif.

personnels le plus gentil de notre sejour !
Nous sommes restés deux jours dans ce merveilleux hôtel. Non seulement l'hôtel en lui même et les chambres sont très beaux, mais le personnel a été formidable, d'une extrême gentillesse. Un exemple, nous sommes rentres tard (22h30) d'une excursion et avions très faim, ils ont réouvert les cuisines pour nous préparer des plats thaï (car en overnight, seulement quelques snacks genre pâtes bologneses, qui nous faisaient peu envie, et même le services overnight venait tout juste de fermer). Nous recommandons fortement ! Seul petit point négatif, un peu loin du centre vivant de chiang mai, obligation de prendre des tuk tuks a chaque fois. Néanmoins, un centre de massage par des aveugles juste a côté (très bien et 150baths/heure), et qqn est venus nous chercher pour un cours de cuisine (zab e Lee, génial !) et pour notre tour éléphant. Hôtel élégant et confortable sans être luxueux, proche de la vieille ville et de ses temples. Service attentif et disponible. Le Rim Resort peut-être un bon choix pour ceux qui recherchent un hôtel de bonne catégorie sans être trop prétentieux. Seul reproche: le WiFi est un peu capricieux...

Un tres bon hotel, l'accueil était parfait, la chambre aussi avec ses meubles en bois. Il y a beaucoup d'interrupteur, pas tres pratique pour éteindre les lumieres, mais ce ne sont que des détails. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, et les plats salés sont fait à la demande et sont vraiment excellents. L'hotel se situe à l'ouest du centre ville et il faut 15/20 minutes pour rejoindre le night bazaar. L'hotel nous fournit un plan de ville et nous recommande certains points à visiter. très sympa.La piscine est tres agreable egalement. Taxi 150 bhat pour rejoindre l'aeroport.

The Rim resort Chiang Mai
Un magnifique hôtel de style thai. Bien qu'au bord d'une route passante, dès que l'on passait la porte d'entrée on découvrait un havre de paix et de silence! Très bien situé à deux pas de la vieille ville, cet hôtel offre de très belles prestations : accueil chaleureux, chambres très vastes et confortables, salle de bain complète avec douche et baignoire, piscine,... Seul bémol: la salle de gym, minuscule et ne contenant qu'un malheureux ballon et un appareil de cardio training! Le petit déjeuner était riche et varié. Bref un séjour de 4 nuits en tout point parfait!

We stayed for 4 nights and loved this hotel! it was very hot in Chiang Mai and they always gave us all the water we needed. the air conditioning worked great in the room, the pool was a perfect temperature, and most of all the staff was extra friendly at front desk, cleaning crew and restaurant. they helped us book tours too. great location. thumbs up

Our bar is open daily at the restaurant terrace but for the pool bar we service by on call order and the pool bar is closed at 17.00 pm to avoid any disturbance noise to rooms around the bar. Regarding to English TV Channel pro grams that you are missed with this service, We have to apologize that our staff did not inform you well enough for our smart tv facility in the room. The TV is connected to the internet for supporting any online entertainments i.e. youtube, netflix and INFOSAT android TV box which has a variety international channels such as CNN, BBC or CNA. We do sorry for our miscommunication and cause you feel that we are not good value for money. Very Disappointing
Just go somewhere else. The whole property is very dilapidated and nothing like the pictures. It looks like it has been shut down for years. It was only us and one other couple staying during our time. The room was OK but there were ants everywhere. The staff was very nice and took care of the ant situation when we told them. Breakfast is very small but good. However there were ants all over in the cereal. Eggs made to order. They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport which was nice. I never write a review and hate saying bad things but I thought this one was necessary so other people don’t make the same mistake.

The Rim is well located to explore the old town with many cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was in need of a refurb. Mouldy tiling in the shower was not very welcome! The pool, although rather cold, was a great way to cool off at the end of the day!

A great boutique hotel
A really warm welcome and everything you need. Loved the free airport shuttle and night bazaar shuttle. Free cultural activities by the pool each afternoon (some edible) and good facilities in the room. It does have some ‘rustic’ charm and for some might be too far from the main attractions (around 10-15 minute walk) but we were very happy.

We stayed five nights. This is a good hotel. The staff are very polite and attentive, service is excellent. The staff go out of their way to help with any queries. We were travelling with our ten month old baby, and were given a baby cot and allowed to check in several hours early. This was a really nice touch. There was very noisy building works going on in the building adjacent to our hotel during our stay. There was also planned maintenance work going on at the hotel. We were not told of this in advance of us arriving. The manager told us that the building works next door should have finished in December, and were running late. He had also been told that the builders would not start work until the afternoon; they started each morning at around nine thirty. Our room was immediately adjacent to the building site, but we were offered a new room the opposite side of the hotel, and a discount on the first few nights when we had been affected. This was hugely appreciated by us. The rooms are immaculately clean, and well presented with lovely balconies overlooking the pool. Breakfast is excellent and served in the adjacent restaurant (which seems pretty much abandoned at other times of the day). The location is good for most sites being just in the old city. Most good restaurants are a short tuktuk or taxi ride away. The pool unfortunately is very cold.

This property is our favorite in Chiang Mai! The staff is absolutely unbelievable! They work extremely hard to serve our every need and are incredibly kind and helpful. From the check in staff to the restaurant staff, and even the drivers of the shuttle, their customer service is unmatched in the region. Thank you for your continued incredible service! By the way, I have stayed at this hotel now a number of times and have had the same incredible service every time - this shows remarkable consistency which I greatly appreciate. I can rely on this hotel staff for a remarkable experience in any season.
