"Room spacious, lovely clean bathroom. Breakfast fresh to order. I have coeliac disease so they provided me with a gluten free cereal. All the staff were very helpful. We travelled by train so no need for parking but there was ample space. Few minutes walk from the seafront. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. "

Terrific place if you want to do the Coastal walk as the bus stop is just up the road and the walk brings you back past the hotel. Evening food was a reasonable price and good quality."

"It’s in a good location in that you can walk into Sidmouth, and there are lovely walks in the Byes the park.The host responded quickly when we had an issue with a door. The big challenge is the parking as without my husbands blue badge we would have struggled to park anywhere near, I would worry that in the season this would be even harder. The house is well equipped, and the bed is comfy, I agree with previous comments that the sofa is not comfy, and some areas need an update. I think also that it should explain that there are steps at the front door, and the stairs and the bathroom access are tricky, we just about managed them as 70 yr olds, but I think they would also be tricky for a toddler. Sidmouth is a lovely place to visit ."
