Top Comillas City Center Hotel Reviews

Hotel Torresport

Hotel Torresport

10/10 Excellent
"We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and the spa area. We were just stopping overnight. It's an odd setup - a hotel attached to a gym/spa but we appreciated the amenities. Also convenient was a Carrefour store across the road. Not the most scenic spot but great for an overnight stop on a road trip. And close to the cuevas with the historic cave art and the medieval village that we enjoyed after we left the hotel. Staff were all very nice and the breakfast was great."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Comillas City Center?
The best area to stay in Comillas City Centre is the area surrounding the Parque de la Estatua del Marqués de Comillas.

This central area is the heart of Comillas. It's very walkable, with the main square, Plaza Joaquín del Piélago, and nearby streets like Calle de la Aldea and Calle Antonio López, featuring most of the town's shops, restaurants, and historic buildings. The impressive Sobrellano Palace and El Capricho de Gaudí are both within easy walking distance.

For couples, staying in this central zone offers convenience and a pleasant experience. You'll find a good selection of quality restaurants for evening meals and can easily stroll to points of interest without needing a car. The atmosphere is relaxed, great for enjoying a leisurely holiday.

Families will also find this area highly suitable. Being close to the main park provides a nice green space for children, and the proximity to all amenities means less travel time and more time enjoying your trip.
When is the best time to go to Comillas City Center?
The best time to visit Comillas City Centre is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is at its finest for exploring and enjoying the outdoors.

During this period, you can expect warm, sunny days, superb for visiting the El Capricho de Gaudí or strolling through the historic streets. The sea temperatures are also pleasant for those who wish to spend time at Comillas Beach, which is just a short walk from the town centre. For those who prefer a quieter visit with comfortable temperatures, late spring (May) or early autumn (October) can also be a good choice. You'll still experience pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the Cantabrian coast without the peak season bustle.
