« We spent the night to visit Pikes Peak Mountain. The owner at the reception is very smart and helpful. The room is very old-style but clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. The motel is very well situated, a few meters for the city center where you can go out for dinner. And the night is very quiet as there is no real activity around at night. The breakfast is a bit short. Coffee, industrial muffins and corn flakes. All in all, the price should be be cheaper for the room old-fashioned...

« The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. « Generally good room was warm and shower has great water pressure. Breakfast and included fruit, coffee, tea, granola bars and other individual packaged items like cookies and muffins. Staff was pleasant. »

« The worst! I programmed the TV myself to operate. Bath area had trash on the floor. Toilet was filthy. Key card failed and had to be replaced by might staff on a day long absence. Bed frame did not match the mattress. Mattress was old and lumpy. Pillows were flat to non-existence. You want cheap stay here, you will get cheap. »
