« This property is beautiful and the house was very clean. The only thing I recommend is for it listed as handicap not friendly. I could not go up and down the stairs because I have some severe back problems. The stairs are steep and winding. We checked into a motel, and then owner tried to charge me $2000.00 for "water damage", when there was no running water and we never stayed. »

« What a wonderful home. My family stayed here for the weekend of the total Solar Eclipse in April 2024. The hosts were spectacularly welcoming and helpful to us throughout our stay. The house is ideal for a relaxing, fun getaway. We enjoyed the game room, watched a movie, cooked, hung out in the back yard, listened to music, had a fire, enjoyed the hot tub, and just had a fantastic time. Highly recommend! »

Rod really made it a point to make it easy for us to get there and to park - he even blocked off the parking lot because there was an event in town and he wanted to make sure we weren’t without a spot! We also explored the surrounding small towns. Hoping to come back during the summer when Metamora, IN is open for full business. It was such a cute place. We also enjoyed a night at Ainsley's Cafe.
