However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. « This home is within a short walk from the quaint square of Castletown. It is really cute inside for two people. We only slept and had breakfast there everyday as we were out and about for the rest of the time. We enjoyed the village square and the restaurants there as well. Access to the rail station and catching the bus at the square was a real bonus. We would definitely stay there again! »

« Immaculate, moden interior with high quality fittings and appliances. Probably the cleanest place we've stayed in. Nice touch with the welcome pack. One minor gripe was the place was too hot, but apart from that it was spot on and I would stay again. »

« We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. »

« We had a wonderful stay in lodge 1. The owner was friendly and helpful. The lodge was beautiful and had all we needed. We didn’t have a car but had friends who picked up up each day we went out. You would need access to transport. We would happily stay again! »

« A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour. »
