« Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Betreuung war perfekt. Jederzeit konnte man unkompliziert Hilfe und Rat erhalten. Das Haus bietet genug Platz für eine große Familie und liegt ruhig gelegen, so dass man entspannen kann. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan verlängert haben. Also absolut empfehlenswert! « We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

« Maison confortable, lieu idéal pour se reposer. Marvao est accessible à pied, avec un peu de marche, sinon à 10 mn en voiture. Le soir c'est agréable, ça mérite d'y faire un tour. La propriétaire est joignable très facilement pour toutes demandes. Nous avons apprécié. Le couché du soleil est magnifique, juste en face, c'est une merveille. Maison fraîche malgré la chaleur. Très bien isolée, mur en paille. Nous recommandons. »

« The property has two small bedrooms, but a decent size kitchen and living area, with a great front garden with fruit trees and outside seating - great for mellow evening dinners. There is little commercial activity in the village the house is located, Atalaia, just one cafe.
