Once you reach the 3rd floor you are greeted by an inviting foyer with swings and chairs to visit. Around the corner is a hall with multiple rooms that were rented out. We were there for her track meet and it only took us 5 minutes drive each way. Unlike hotels, this rental was so very quiet and peaceful. I will admit that when I walked through the first door to go upstairs to the unit I thought, “what have I done?” but once you climb the industrial looking flight of stairs and enter your private unit, you will be in awe of this lovely old refurbished water treatment plant.We will be visiting Carbondale sporadically while my daughter is there and will be very disappointed if I’m not able to rent the unit again at my next visit to town! ##### Patrick P. Despite it being across the street from the east campus dorms, it was very quiet. It's like a small hotel with a lobby and four units. All were booked but we didn't hear anything from anyone. So peaceful. The room had a small kitchen which was perfect for breakfast. The bathroom had a great shower with very soft towels. The bed was also super comfy. A fan was even provided which was a nice touch for those that like that while sleeping. We will definitely be back. The only drawback for some would be that it's up two flights of stairs on the third floor. Totally fine for us but may not be perfect for all. ##### Lisa W.
