« What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Amazing continental breakfast box, plenty of cereals, toast and...

Par contre la literie avec des matelas à ressorts et des lits pour deux assez étroits, par rapport à ce qui se fait pour ce prix, ce n'est pas acceptable. On a signalé qu'on avait mal dormi quand on nous a demandé si tout allait bien, sans plus de considération. Pour dîner, prévoir 2h de service. L'espace piscine est vieillissant. »

« The Swan at Hay Hotel est une bonne adresse pour qui veut séjourner à Hay-on-Wye et découvrir les librairies de livres anciens ou la réserve d'oiseaux de Holy Island. Bonne cuisine dans un cadre chaleureux et agréable, avec un service détendu et efficace. Un bémol : certaines chambres donnent directement sur une cour intérieure, et il ne faut pas se trouver en face du néon de sécurité qui nous a éclairés toutes les nuits...
