"A beautifully maintained property, room very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Charming and elegant owners, justifiably proud of there home and business. A petting 'zoo' of lovely birds and animals is included in their land. Dogs were welcomed and good safe walking is immediately outside the gate. Lovely breakfast included. Nearby town did not have much to offer but we ate well there."

"It was a relaxing place to rest after a long drive from Porto city. Surrounded by farmland it was a quiet and serene, Staff was professional. Breakfast was great...ample choice and variety of delicious fresh food. Although we did not utilize, there are two swimming pools available. Added bonus were the farm animals....great for all ages. Enjoyable stay1"

Very lovely hostess 

"Overall this was a lovely place to stay but I feel obliged to point out some aspects which were lacking. The sound of our neighbours using the bathroom (toilet) were rather unwelcome, especially during the night. The Nespresso machine should have been a bonus bout an initial run through revealed it was desperately in need of a clean. Off the very few available sockets for charging my phone, the one adjacent to the bed was literally falling out of the wall very dangerously. The only other usable one being in the bathroom! Having a solar powered balcony light sounds like a great idea but it really would have benefited from an off switch bc of unwanted light all night from outside. Also the air dripped onto the balcony and a hanger was broken. Apart from this, the hostess was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfortable, and the lighting was good. Also, a decent shower and blackout curtain. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright for what we needed it for. Nothing special. We didn’t realize just how in the middle of nowhere it would be. It’s quite remote and the country roads to get there are a bit tricky to navigate at night. We were exploring comporta for the two days that we were there but it’s about a 40 min drive so if you’re thinking of exploring comporta just keep that in mind. Also, there are no doors in the bathroom which we did not enjoy. Lastly, the room itself had some things that needed fixing. For example, the bottom of the door was completely falling off and the floor which is made up of some type of cork looked like it needed a refresh - it was stained on multiple areas. The breakfast included was also just ok - the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. We got to breakfast at 10 AM so I guess if you’re an early riser it might’ve been warm but they could also invest in better equipment to keep the food warm for the rest of us that are jet lagged and not up at the crack of dawn. Overall, it was just an ok experience. "

"A herdade da Boavista é uma excelente opção para grupos grandes. Fomos 17 adultos e 5 crianças, com imenso espaço para todos estarem confortavéis. A cozinha está muito bem equipada, espaço para refeições também mais do que suficiente para todos. Vários frigoríficos excelentes para guardar tudo e mais alguma coisa para superar os dias de calor.Todos os quartos e areas comuns têm ar condicionado, e o salão de jogos foi excelente para manter todos ocupados. As crianças adoraram conhecer todos os animais da quinta. Adorámos fazer os grelhados na rua e toda a lenha foi-nos disponibilizada pelo host.Excelente comunicação com o host e com o senhor que toma conta da herdade e dos animais. Sempre disponíveis para solucionar e ajudar com qualquer questão."
