"We stayed for 5 night, the property is in a lovely quiet area with street parking available, I would definitely recommend renting a car. The owner and his son were quick with communication and very helpful. The property is a lovely older building with plenty of character, clean and everything was in working order. There is wifi in the common area which works well and the view from the rooms is fantastic. "

"I have mixed feelings about our stay at Joao's place. We were a bit disappointed to find the state of the place; we emailed the landlord but he did not respond until Vrbo contacted him. Positive: - location: the view over the ocean is spectacular! - silence: it is a quiet area, only residential. aside from a couple of dogs once in a while, there is no outside noise - sleep quality: the (hard) mattresses worked a charm and we slept really well - good fun with the table tennis in the common...

"Le seul bon point du logement est l'emplacement très calme et la vue magnifique. Malheureusement cela ne compense pas le reste et il est difficile de profiter d'un séjour dans ces conditions. La chambre: le plafond est globalement bas et très bas dans la chambre, et il y a une très forte odeur d'humidité, il est impossible d'ouvrir les placards à cause de cela et nous avons du dormir la fenêtre ouverte toutes les nuits. "Fantastic property that met and exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Martin was very helpful, remotely giving us plenty of tips and advice on things to do, where to eat etc. Rosa was a phone call away locally to make sure our stay went smoothly. There was plenty to do locally especially if you wanted to experience the island's incredible nature. "Alles sehr funktional und technisch gut. Durch den darüberliegenden Balkon war auf der Terrasse auch immer ein Schattenplatz zu finden. Der Check-In war sehr holprig, da vor der Anreise dafür keine Informationen bereitgestellt worden waren. Bei der Ausstattung wären das Vorhandensein von Reinigungsutensilien (wie Kehrschaufel und -besen, Eimer, etc.) nützlich gewesen."

"We had an amazing 25th anniversary celebration in Madeira. We had never been before, but this property provided the necessary privacy while also providing a short drive to necessary amenities. The roads are steep and may be a bit of a challenge, but the unbridled beauty of the island is well worth it. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay again."

Die Vermieterin Isabel war sofort zur Stelle und die Probleme wurden umgehend gelöst. Isabel spricht kein Englisch, aber sie ist so nett und hilfsbereit, so daß die Verständigung trotzdem funktioniert hat. Ansonsten ist die Kommunikation in Englisch mit Garry möglich, er gibt auch Hinweise und Tipps zum Auffinden der Wohnung und Einchecken. Die Lage im Süden...
