« Spacious home, with lots of little sitting areas for everyone to have quiet time on their own. We enjoyed being walking distance from the Root River Trail. Short drive to Lanesboro where there was plenty to do.We were lucky to be in Lanesboro for the Rhubarb Festival, which was enjoyed by all. We also went to the The Mane Theatre for an excellent satire, "The Outsider". Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. »

« This was the most amazing rental experience we have ever had. The property is breathtaking. The camper was very cleaned, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. We only needed to reach out to Uncle John and Rose once. They were very quick to respond and we're very accommodating. We plan to be back soon and make this place a regular place to visit. »

« We really enjoyed the outdoor amenities. The fishing was good. We relaxed watching the sun come up on the bay. We even enjoyed the sand beach, grilling out and a fire in the pit. The closed in porch made enjoying the bay possible on the rainy day. We had a very relaxing visit. »

Bring all your towels- bath and kitchen- dishwasher soap and any cleaner you might want to wipe down a counter or sink. Kitchen has limited glassware and silverware but adequate pots and pans. With my 7 year old daughter and babysitter along for the ride, the home was perfect for them to be entertained when we didn’t have wedding festivities. « beautiful house meet all of our needs for room. we had a little problem with ants in the guest bedroom. the biggest issue is the train that goes by all day and night about 100 yards from your window. the cherry was when they went from the north to the south, because there was 2 tracks on our side of the road, they blew their horn about 25,000 times. then the train on the other side of the river doing the same thing, it was dueling train horns. »

« The Maplewood Cabin is fantastic! Exactly as pictured. The kitchen is very well stocked and roomy, the couches are super comfy to relax in while enjoying the gas fireplace, the bed was so comfortable! And the hot tub was fantastic! Go enjoy at night so you can gaze at the stars. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend. »
