« A wonderful weekend for two, perfect for this cozy cottage in the woods and on a lake. Everything in the cottage was well maintained and very effective. We had about a four hour fire in the fire pit on a cool September night and not a mosquito. Couldn’t be better. »

« My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at this cabin. When we arrived for our 5 night stay we were so happy to see how clean it was. Mike, Nola and Ginger were great with the details of our vacation and replied to our questions quickly. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware, utensils and probably anything you could think of. The cabin is close to everything, but the setting is beautifully wooded. We even had deer walk in front of us while we were walking on a bike path. Hayward...

« My husband and I just got home from our stay at this wonderful cabin. The home had everything you could need and then some. We loved the layout of the home, the decor, the extras that were provided and that it was pet friendly. We wanted a quiet cabin and that’s what we got but we were just a short drive away to Hayward for great dining, shopping, and hiking experiences. We are definitely thinking about coming back next year. »

« This home is fantastic!!! We were so lucky to have found this treasure. The location is wonderful - the lake is clear with sandy bottom...beautiful. Great to watch the sun rise on the deck and sitting on the pier we could watch the sun go down as well. The home was stocked with absolutely anything you could possibly need for meal prep. « This little cabin is no frills and exactly what we were looking for. No internet, no phone service, and no tv (other than dvd's and vhs tapes) it was like stepping back in time to before everyone became tethered to technology. The quiet of the woods, and the relaxing sounds of the babbling curtent of the river was amazing. »

« Our family of 6 stayed here over Labor Day weekend. Pros: spectacular views, many amenities (eg games and kitchen tools), and enough square footage. Cons: no room for pantry storage / food, dirty grill tools, uncomfortable mattresses (eg the blow up one had a hole / deflated), loud fans, poor air circulation. We were happy enough, but got the sense that the owners don’t stay here to experience what their guests experience. »
