« The best thing about this house was the river! Loved sitting on the deck enjoying the river. House was very clean. Noise from the road was disconcerting— cars fly down that road. Regardless of the noise, still enjoyed the stay. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay the place was very interesting and had a lot of character. That said I did not realize the bathroom was downstairs and both bedrooms upstairs. I might be a good idea to make the 3rd small bedroom a bathroom instead. I think that would appeal more to smal families or a pair of couples. Overall it was a decent value. There were a couple of small issues that I had such as: no washcloths, very limited kitchen utensils such as wooden spoons not much in the way of chairs...

« Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

« This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend. »

« The house was nicely secluded in a gated community. Having the bedrooms divided over three levels allow for privacy as well as family interaction for my husband and I with our adult child. It was a quick drive in to Asheville, and we were very excited that you could walk out of the door and be only a five-minute walk from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
