« My husband and I booked the Penguin beach house as a place for us and our 3 year old daughter to rest after the excitement of crossing on the boat. It was a wonderful place to stay. The heater had been left on for us so when we arrived on a frosty June morning, the house was warm and inviting. The house had a friendly fee and contained everything you could want. The shower was amazing!! »

« We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. « We stayed there with our show dogs as we had a show in Ulverstone which was less than 15 mins away. Great secure backyard for dogs to relax in after the shows each day. And sat out with them on the front porch enjoying the lovely weather. Lovely and quiet area which was good as our dogs remained quiet too. House was a bit warm at night but very comfy overall. Had everything you need. »
