Even though it rained most of the days that we were there, we were able to play board games, enjoy a wonderful fireplace,relax and watch TV and take lots of naps! The location on the water is what drew us there along with being dog friendly. The house is well maintained and we were all very comfortable. We enjoyed being on the bay and seeing the stars and even the Northern Lights! The house was very clean and well equipped. Having a dog friendly place for our family was a real bonus. We have a 16 y/o, 11 y/o and a dog. We throughly enjoyed bonfires on the beach, fishing off the dock and skipping rocks in the water! I personally enjoyed the hammock in the yard-it was a perfect spot any time of day! Our youngest could dig all day long and the beach area was perfect for him, so much space to explore! Having our doggie be able to join us for our family vacation was incredible! We were looking for remote and private with things to occupy every one in our family and this listing definitely delivered! We also made it just in time to pick cherries at a local orchard(Alexander’s Cherry Orchard). The people at the orchard were so kind and the cherries were perfect! They have made for some very yummy treats so far with more to come! We took one day to make the short trip up to Sturgeon Bay only to see more sights-but we would have been just as happy hanging around the house all day as well. We needed a few more days of vacation to thoroughly enjoy this location to the fullest!
