« We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. « We had a wonderful stay here for our first visit to Maine! The Northeast Harbor quiet side of the island was better than I imagined! The property was super clean, which I appreciated. it was a 20min drive to Acadia. Before hiking, we had breakfast downstairs at the Colonel’s Restaurant & Bakery which was delicious! The place has a Keurig coffee maker which was nice, so we picked up some K cups in Bar Harbor. The Nor’Easter Restaurant was less than a 5min walk and we had a delicious dinner!!...

« The home was warm and inviting, clean and peaceful. Our only difficulty was the internet which was intermittent, which meant we had difficlty logging in for work and watching television. We did get quick responses from the manager but did need to call in for a work order. »

The location of the property was right near town, but still a little off the main street so it was comfortable and quiet.
