« A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket.
The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise.
Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

« The actual property is great, located down a quiet laneway. Unfortunately, we came when it was around 30 degrees C. Sleeping upstairs only exacerbated the issue.
We stayed 3 nights, unfortunately again there was a party not far away with amplified band and singer (not very good) on our last night which droned on till midnight.
The property is very good, although I’m 193 cm and had to constantly duck my head when going into the kitchen/meals area. Well presented, well stocked. »

« Nice property, lovely and clean rooms and great hospitality. Property manager treated very nicely and they are quite flexible in providing kitchen and other equipment on need basis. »

« Très bel établissement récemment rénové. Les chambres sont très agréables. Petit bémol sur les douches qui sont ouvertes et laissent donc l’eau aller dans la salle de bain. A part ce détail tout était parfait. »

« The property it self was nice once you worked out the maze of entrances and where to find the Keys. Whilst there is parking it can be tight to navigate.
upon arrival I was accosted by what I assume was a fellow guests looking for help in checking in, as it self check in. I felt a little swarmed and uncomfortable. The room itself was nice and spacious, clean and functional. Very Warm however due to the hot weather and a lack of aircon.
Later in the evening the Fire Alarm went of apparently...

« Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day.
That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial.
So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have...
