The cooked breakfast was awful. Scrambled egg was almost solid and inedible ( even going early ) the bacon was so overcooked I could not put my knife through it . Carnoustie Golf Hotel
Nice hotel, lovely and clean. Beautiful sea view from our room. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. Noise - you can hear everything in the corridor. Doors banging closed was an issue for us, made me jump on many occasions. Apart from this one issue it was a lovely stay.

The Ramblers Rest - recently renovated, pet friendly, close to amenities/walks..
We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. ...
