« Had a great time at your property celebrating a birthday with family and friends. The house was comfortable and nicely accommodated our party of all adults. The location was good, not far away from beach, convenience stores and few restaurants. We enjoyed the deck and even the firepit on a summer night. Few things to mention, all the bedrooms did not cool at night, dishwasher is not secure to wall, and we did see ants in the kitchen and bedrooms a few times. An outdoor shower after the beach...

« We really enjoyed our stay here during our first trip to Surfside Beach. It was great having 2 king bed rooms for each set of parents and then the kids had the upstairs room. We will definitely be back! »

« We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat. »

« Great place to stay with a large family. House was great in everyway. Kitchen was well equipped and the kids loved the media room. Only draw back is it’s a public beach, so if you’re staying for the weekend, I would recommend getting to the beach by 9 to secure you a place in front of the house. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Our stay here was pretty awesome! Loved the privacy and the sound of the ocean and being that close to the beach! Not a huge beach but once the tide was low it was great for the kids. Enjoyed our first ever salt water fishing and caught a lot of fish! Had a full moon on our anniversary and the light on the ocean all night was amazing!
