"The bed was very comfortable. The bar was great and food also really good. So convenient. The staff was so great, down to earth. The best part though was just sitting outside on the water especially for sunset....incredible. So relaxing. It was also great that the paddle board rentals were right next door as well. "

"This is a really lovely motel in a fantastic location. Just steps from everything in town. Spotlessly clean, perfectly kept, generous continental breakfast. Staff and owners are lovely. The only negative is that air conditioning doesn't sufficiently cool the room on a very warm day. Otherwise, 10/10. "

"This house was perfect for our reunion group! It is much bigger than it looks from the front, and has a great layout for multiple families vacationing together. The top floor has 2 cape bedrooms and a full bath, the main level has another full bath and a huge open plan living, kitchen and dining area, and the living and large bedroom both have access to an upper deck. The lower level has two more bedrooms, a family/game room, laundry and a walkout to the covered patio and backyard with fire pit. Be aware you need to bring all your own sheets and towels, and transport all garbage to the local drop station about 10 min away. Otherwise, the house was fully stocked and we easily cooked tons of meals, including use of the outdoor grill. The owner was super responsive to all questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The area even had a long power outage one morning, but the onsite generator kept us going as if nothing had gone wrong! The location is FANTASTIC - a very short drive into town, Water Safari, or the community private beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and look forward to staying again next time we come up to Old Forge. "

"The property was magnificent and spacious! Beautiful views of the lake! Plenty of living spaces to be gather together or have separate time as needed, for our multigenerational family if 10. Th property contained everything needed for fun on the lake, meal prep and comfort. Cleanliness was great even to my exacting standards. Our host was very easy to communicate either and responded quickly to any questions that came up. Timberwind was fabulous!"
