I complained and after negotiation they changed me to the room upstairs where everything was functioning properly. But why rent out a room that is initially meant to be identical to the room upstairs and yet, it has most basic features malfunctioning? On a more positive note, the staff were lovely (although the evening shift lady was a little too irritable for a clumsy check-in procedure) and the breakfast included is delivered in a basket to your room which was very enjoyable."
