McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres

McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres

10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful home and property in one of our favorite areas in Oregon. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cabin looks so unassuming from the outside, but very well appointed and comfortable. It felt much bigger on the inside with everything we needed and more. The remote deck awning and skylight covers were very much appreciated, as well as the ceiling fans. We loved all of the unique art and sculptures in and around the cabin. We found something new hiding every day. The 2 acres were such a bonus and gave us great privacy. We really enjoyed the pond area and the old swing as well. The fenced dog area is a great idea, even though we don't have dogs. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying nature and the river. We grilled dinner every night. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. We hope to make this a regular vacation getaway for as long as it lasts. Thank you so much to our hosts as this was just a perfect property with no complaints whatsoever."

"I had a good stay at the cabin. Upstairs got really hot during the day. It would cool off with opening the windows in the evening but then the smoke came in the cabin. It would be helpful to have some cooling upstairs."

Mckenzie River Cabin at The Log Cabin Inn

Mckenzie River Cabin at The Log Cabin Inn

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed in Cabin 22 for two nights, celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary. This was our third time at the Log Cabin Inn. The cabin was as advertised, clean, and had a decently stocked kitchen. The bed was a bit hard for our liking but we still slept comfortably. We had only had two issues during our stay. The guest bathroom toilet tank did not fill properly but the host was quick to offer to send someone over to take a look. However, my husband managed a temporary fix that worked. Our second issue was a lawn care crew arriving at 7:15 in the morning and running their mowers right in the cabin yard! I was awake but lying in bed listening to the birds and crickets (my husband was not awake) and that is far too early to start making a huge racket while guests are on vacation. We came here for the quiet.Overall, our stay was quite enjoyable. The sound of the river from the cabins is one of the reasons we return. The grounds are beautiful, as are each of the cabins!"
