« We book the Majestic for one night as they had over 8+ on Expedia. Well, we arrived at reception. All went well until we were told the lift is out of action and being repaired. Which we later found out is the same story they have been telling guests for months. The very small room was embarrassing. A hole in the wall, electric socket not working, disgusting unwashed curtains, peeling paint everywhere, cracked sink, mould all over the shower head, broken wardrobe. The only plus was the bed...

Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. « My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book...

« The stay was nice, the house felt very home like which was great given the fact we were not able to actually enjoy the area due to Covid 19 and spent most of the time inside. The neighbourhood is also very nice and calm. We were delighted to find a thoughful welcome pack that included dairy free items. We would absolutely recommend this house, for groups of friends or families, it must be very pleasant in the warmer months. »
