« Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. « We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to the sound of waves every morning was magical. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfy beds. Just a short walk to the beach, and the sunsets were incredible. « Our visit was brief... just two nights as we supported an athlete for the Eagleman triathlon June 2025. The house had absolutely everything one might need... very well stocked. Four bedrooms, each with its own mini-split AC was perfect! While we did not use the car EV charger or the backyard 'game shed', both are excellent details. « This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again. »
