« Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend. »

The home is supplied with anything and everything you would need for your stay. Having the fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup to run and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. Thank you! »

This property was great but was also convenient to lots of restaurants, antiques and hiking around Cape Girardeau area. 12 mins from Trail of Tears state park about 15 from town. Quick responses from our host and easy to work with. »

« First, the owner and their communication was fantastic. The space was exactly as described, comfortable and clean. The proximity to everything from the river, to downtown and even to the great restaurants on upper Broadway is walkable and great. The “but” is that we stayed Friday and Saturday and it is located right on Broadway (popular cruising street) next to a popular bar that itself is loud and fills the parking area out back with partying till near 2 am. Truly, otherwise, a great stay. »

« The remote peacefulness of this location was amazing. Rustic isn't a valued word anymore. Wildly fun to sit on the patio of the cabin and just listen to nature and the rainfall, my gosh! We walked trails, played rounds of games in the gaming cabin. Swam and jumped off that pontoon a dozen or so times. The paddle boards were great too! We totally plan to go back and have already been making plans to see the Happy Farm family again! »
