The period furniture was nice, as was the double porch. We watched fireworks from the second floor (the night before Memorial Day). When we return to Beaufort, we will try to stay here. A quick 5 min. easy walk through the charming historic neighborhood. We loved sitting on the porches (2 to choose from) for our morning coffee and in the evening, upstairs porch, to enjoy stargazing. The home was welcoming and had everything we needed to enjoy homemade meals on site. We picked up fresh seafood and a locally made Key Lime pie from Gay's Fish Market on Hunting Island.
