We were close to the parks to go and visit but far enough away to have the quiet we desired. We enjoyed our evening cookouts and bonfires. We had a few issues but we're able to easily resolve. The two hoses connecting to the outdoor shower had a bad connection valve. They had leaked out all the water....

« We enjoyed 4 days of our spring break here, 4 adults, 3 kids and our dogs. It was a nice, clean space with plenty of dishes and all the necessary linens for bedding and showers. The cabin is built on a slope, so it does make backing out of the driveway a little difficult if you're in a low vehicle. The neighboring dogs were interested in our dogs, but seemed friendly, and overall weren't too much of a nuisance. We didn't find a thermostat, or any way to adjust the temperature, but it seemed set...

« Not too many times have i stayed in a location and the accomodations were vetter than expexted, but this was one of those times. Great view, conveniently located (yet private), and well appointed. « The cabin was clean enough except for the linens that smelled of cigarette smoke. We had a problem with check-in due to not receiving an entry code from VRBO. With no cell service, we had to drive to find reception to call the Scenic Cabin rentals for our code. Fortunately, we arrived during daylight hours. »

It was like living in a tree house - sitting on the covered porch with our morning tea, listening to the birds.
