Top Lake Eyre Basin Hotel Reviews
Saltbush Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin I stayed in was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The retreat is in a great location being extremely close to two major Longreach attractions."
The Argent Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and tidy room Parking was easy, right at the door of the room I’ve been here 3 times now and will definitely be booking here the next time I’m in Broken Hill"
Discovery Resorts – Wilpena Pound
10/10 Excellent
"the place was so clean and tidy, the hiking was so convenient and the beds were SO comfortable .. letting my knees rest from the long hike. A perfect place to stay when visiting Wilpina"
Jumbuck Motel
8/10 Good
"Was a nice big room that was very clean and well maintained. The location was a little strange but not a huge concern. The only strange aspect was the bathroom set-up with the toilet and wash basin at the back and shower in front. The shower was open and water spilled out which meant you have to walk across a wet floor to go to the toilet or use the sink/vanity."
The Underground Motel
10/10 Excellent
"It was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The owner came and fetched me from the airport and return. My room had a kitchenette with a microwave. There is a kitchen where one can cook."
Rawnsley Park Station
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing stay for the second time!"
Desert Cave Hotel
8/10 Good
"Older property but clean and quiet."
Longreach Motor Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the kitchen and laundry facilities as well as tea and coffee making, crockery and cutlery in our room. Our room was always cool and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The shower was good with very fluffy towels. The pool and undercover parking were very good too. It was an easy walk to the shops"
Broken Hill Tourist Park
8/10 Good
"Rooms are basic but that’s why they’re a ‘budget room’. Clean, tidy, and everything I used worked so can’t complain at all. Just what I need as someone who travels to the Hill for appointments etc and just needs somewhere budget to stay with my dogs, not somewhere luxurious. I will say, if you’re a light sleeper the road can be quite loud. Didn’t bother me one bit and I slept like a log, but for others I’d reccomend a different style room on the other side of the park, away from the road. Staff were friendly and helpful during the busy Mundi Mundi period which I appreciated."
