Accompanying your stay is the sounds of the harbor, a vast night sky - perfect for stargazing, and breathtaking views of the Maine wilderness at its finest.

When venturing out on foot, don't miss the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, known as Maine's most photogenic lighthouse. A quick drive away, you'll find Acadia's gorgeous seawall, as well as two of the park's most popular walking trails with amazing ocean views year-round. A bit further up the road, you'll find yourself swimming at Echo Lake or hiking at Acadia National Park. Downtown Bar Harbor is also easily accessible and boasts many cute shops and delicious eateries.

Back and ready to relax, take it all in from the retreat's porch and gazebo - both providing the perfect place to unwind and sip your morning cup of coffee on. While the back deck is ideal for nature viewing and excellent stargazing opportunities. The provided gas grill and firepit are perfect for sweet summer barbecues and after-dinner s'mores.

And inside, high-speed internet will keep you connected, while the well-equipped kitchen provides a serene space to whip up tasty treats when you aren't indulging in local fare. Remote workers will love utilizing the built-in desk for any last-minute projects.

The homeowners live in the downstairs level of the home, but this rental has exclusive access to the apartment from the front door and the rear deck door.
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
