Top Bašerinka Hotel Reviews

Angelo d'Oro Heritage Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at Angelo d’Oro. The location is perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed the variety of food on offer at breakfast and the climb up three flights of stairs to our attic room was worth it, as it was such a nice room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We will be back."

Hotel Piran

10/10 Excellent

"This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location, right in the centre of Piran's historical area. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the terrace bar. I wish this bar was open on more evenings to watch the sunset, and it would have been great to have a kettle in the room. But these are minor points, and we can thoroughly recommend this hotel!"

The Melegran

10/10 Excellent

"The staff are the most helpful, positive and sweet people that I have encountered in the hotels. Milena was a lifesaver. Any problem you would report immediately was taken care of. We are so pleased with our experience here. Thank you to everyone at melegran!"

Eden Hotel by Maistra Collection

8/10 Good

"The room was clean and towels were refreshed daily. Buffet breakfast and dinner in the hotel were good. The Oleander restaurant was also good but in the trees so bug spray is needed. The water in the main pool was colder than the sea, and the spa pool was cool despite, supposedly, being heated. The staff were great and many made a fuss of our 4 year old. There is no local bus or hotel shuttle to the Old Town. This is only a short walk for adults but several times we returned to the hotel by taxi (never charged more than 10 Euros though). All in all, this is an excellent location and a great holiday destination. Airport transfers were excellent, booked through Maistra link."

Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna

"Clean and new. Nice pool with bar. All good"

Hotel Ville Park Premium - Sava Hotels & Resorts

10/10 Excellent

"Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews - this place is great. Recently done out. Rooms immaculate. Dining hall the same and a great variety of food. Wonderful seafront location with delightful walk to Piran and Portoroz nearby the other way. Staff all really helpful. Great pool just by the sea. Lovely little row of gift shops between the rooms and the pool area. Only thing was you had to pay for sun loungers but I think quite a few places do that in Italy. We were two adults and three children who came for a rest after travelling for a week and it was brilliant."

Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna

10/10 Excellent

"Great place, food, all around"

Grand Park Hotel Rovinj by Maistra Collection

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is very modern, the room is spacious, the pool is heated in April. The restaurant is amazing for breakfast and dinner. The view is unbearable."

Apartments Polynesia Plava Laguna

8/10 Good

"The accommodation is very spacious and in a very nice location."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Bašerinka?

The best area to stay in Bašerinka is within the village itself for direct access to its amenities and the renowned Bašerinka Cave. The village of Bašerinka is a small, pleasant community located in the Istrian countryside. It's characterised by traditional stone houses, olive groves, and vineyards. The main road through the village, Ulica Bašerinka, connects the various parts of the settlement and leads directly to the Bašerinka Cave entrance. This area is generally quiet and offers a tranquil escape, yet it's conveniently located for exploring the wider Istrian region.Couples looking for a serene and romantic getaway will find the village a superb fit. You can enjoy strolls through the scenic countryside, visit local wineries for a tasting, or simply relax by a pool with views of the rolling hills. Many accommodations offer private gardens or outdoor spaces, allowing children to play freely.

The best time to go to Bašerinka is during the late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.During these shoulder seasons, the weather is comfortably warm, ideal for exploring the Istrian countryside, cycling, or enjoying the coast without the intense heat and larger crowds of July and August.
