"Cabin is nice and clean, comes with well and full equipped kitchen. Easy check-in with email sent by 1500hrs sharp. As it is winter during our visit, many shops and restaurants weren’t open for business. So getting food from restaurants was almost impossible. But overall we had a good time chilling in the cabin, overlooking Lake Shirakaba. "

"The hotel is well located at lake front, although our room was on the lower floor and the view was a bit blocked by the fence outside the windows. The staff were extremely helpful and the one served us could speak English. The food was good.The private bath (fee required) inside the public bath has half glass walls so not so private except exclusive use of the facility .Given the price we paid included a free tour of the shrines, we considered it's value for money."

"The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. "It was a nice Japanes experience with the futon on the floor. Only two points negative. There was no towels for the shower unless you rented it for 200 yen. Breakfast was only croissants with coffee, juice,butter and jam. "

"9月で20度以下になる日だったのですが、まだ暖房が出ないと言われました。長袖があったからまだよかったですが、予約時にアナウンスがあれば良かったなと思いました。到着後フロントマンの方が丁寧に説明していただけたのでそこまで嫌な気持ちにはならなかったのですが、やはり冷え込みましたので、ちょっと引っかかりました。"

"Easy to park. Wife would give it 4 stars. 6 yr old would give 5 stars for the rock climbing wall. No lift for 2nd floor rooms and would have life more space to open suitcases but overall nice place to stay."
