Enjoy ultimate comfort in this spectacular, spacious log home, built with luxury and relaxation in mind. The main level of the home features a spacious living room with 25-foot high exposed-beam cathedral ceilings, an open kitchen, dining area, a mudroom with plenty of coat hooks, and a half bath. The dining room table seats 8, with 4 additional stools at the kitchen bar counter. A 42" plasma TV hangs over the stone wood-burning fireplace in the living room. One of the master bedroom suites is situated on this level, featuring a King bed, HDTV with DVD player, and a private deck. The private bathroom adjoining this bedroom features a garden-style tub with a separate shower. Upstairs is a loft with a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a cabinet containing several movies and games. Off the loft is another master suite with a King bed, also offering HDTV and a DVD player and its own private deck. The spacious private bathroom features his-and-hers sink tops, a corner tiled tub, and a separate shower. Downstairs, the large entertainment room awaits. This room is sure to be a hit, with its three leather reclining couches, a 42" plasma TV, a gas fireplace, wet bar, a piano, and a pool table with a ping-pong table topper. A half bath and two bedrooms are off this room. One bedroom has a King bed, and the other has two twin-over-full bunk beds. Between these two bedrooms is a full Jack & Jill bathroom. Outside on the upper deck, the soothing hot tub awaits. Also there is a large gas grill set up for your cooking pleasure, and a patio table ready for al fresco dining. It is just 5 minutes away from Hawksnest Resort, 15 minutes to Boone, ASU, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, 25 minutes to Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, 20 minutes to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad, 25 minutes to Appalachian Ski Resort and Linville Caverns, 35 minutes to Ski Beech. And convenient to abundant hiking trails and plenty of unique shopping and dining establishments. Whether you're planning a family reunion or a couples retreat, this spacious log home nestled in the community of Seven Devils between Boone and Banner Elk is sure to please. With all that this spectacular home has to offer, you're sure to make Comptime your new home away from home! Please note--Neighborhood noise restrictions are strictly enforced Additional Notes: \-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. We played games at night, made breakfast and dinner and had lots of family time, laughing and talking. The house was great everything we hoped it would be. We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful cabin! We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday just as she requested. She wanted to ski and chill with friends and family. This cabin was perfect for us! My husband and I stayed in the loft with our own master suite and seating area. The private balcony had gorgeous views! Grandparents stayed in the master suite on the main level. Perfect for them so they wouldn't have to climb stairs often. The girls (we had a total of five but there was room for more!) stayed on the bottom floor and enjoyed the privacy of the game room and their own fireplace with living area. We just adored this home! It was so cozy and warm and truly felt like home! We enjoyed the fireplace on the main level and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. There was snow falling on our first morning there which made it magical! The jacuzzi hot tub was also so perfect for sore muscles after a day on the slopes. The hot tub and pool table were a big hit. Get the add on fire wood if colder season as well. Well appointed kitchen. Mattresses and a few furniture pieces could use upgrading but still more than adequate. Our family loved the nearby otter falls trail and the alpine coaster, but snow tubing was unfortunately closed. This home was big enough to accommodate 13 people comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, the bathrooms were gorgeous, the hot tub was amazing and the views were beautiful. My family and I stayed at the property for four days and three nights, It was simply marvelous. The house and property was clean and welcoming. Everything we needed was at the house. My friends and I stayed here for a girl’s weekend in the mountains, and we couldn’t have found a better cabin for our getaway! We loved relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the Mountain View’s, and hanging out in the spacious living areas. Exploring downtown Boone was also a blast, and the drive to and from was quick and easy. There was plenty of room for our three families. It was clean. The 3 king size beds/bedrooms (2 with master bath) and three floor separation was great when we wanted separate. Beds were comfortable.. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and ping pong option. The hot tub was wonderful. The drive up to the cabin was not too bad (winter ice/snow might be different but we went in September). The views from all balconies were perfect. Would definitely rent again for a large party of people. Only wish we were there longer than 2 nights.
