This is our summer home which we offer to you as a quality Fall, Winter and Spring vacation experience! We limit the occupancy to six guests to keep the house as nice as possible so your return visits will be as good as your first visit. And we offer a return-guest discount. Each year, we improve the house a little. This year we upgraded the second bathroom slightly, upgraded the kitchen faucet, and built the rear retaining wall. The fireplace was my husband's absolute favorite feature. The ease in how they have it set up to be operated was a delight. We enjoyed everything about this home, including the proximity to the slopes. Like 2 minutes down a mountain and you're there. Easy drop offs for our kids. There were six of us- 2 adults, two college kids and two 16 yo. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds comfy and the living room sectional was the perfect place to relax after a fun day of skiing. The home wasn't as close to the lodge as I was hoping, but it was an easy drive up and down to shuttle the kids to the slopes. It was also great to have the garage to store all of our ski equipment. A very very short drive to Sugar Mountain ski resort which is ideal. The only complaint I have, insufficient hot water, the house is 90% carpeting which is not friendly when you’re watching TV you can’t eat in the living room and the dining room is also carpeted. The guest bedroom the bed is very very uncomfortable. For me one of the worst issues was the owners will not let you get UPS deliveries to the house during Christmas which is in my opinion ridiculous. Many of my grandchildren’s presence cannot be received and for that I will not stay there again. ##### Chris G. The home itself, shows lack of owner pride. The home was clean enough but there were dead bugs around baseboards throughout home that can be vacuumed up but seems cleaning crew should do that. There was an adequate amount of furniture but reclining sofas were broken in areas. Beds are very comfortable but on king bed, sheets did not fit over mattress. Home just looks tired and neglected. We enjoyed our stay but for the price, this home does not measure up. Check in/out requires visiting an office in town to pick up and drop off keys. Definitely prefer keypad locks. ##### Jennifer K. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the pretty view. We saw lots of wildlife! Hummingbirds, rabbits, deer, and more. My favorite was a set of triplet fawns that would come and play in the front yard with each other! So beautiful! ##### Michele N. The location is amazing. It is close to every activity including hiking and the parkway. The views from the front porch are as advertised, absolutely fantastic! ##### John T.
