"First time here and definitely would return. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are amazing. Loved the layout and the spaciousness. Was so excited to learn there was a washer and dryer in the room. The grounds are kept beautifully. It was nice to wake up and see the harbor from the living room. Coffee in the morning. on your choice of 2 balconies was also a plus! We wanted to enjoy the heated indoor pool, but it did not feel heated. It was pretty chilly, so we didn't indulge. The parking was plentiful and gave you easy access to your designated suite. The elevator doors close abruptly, be aware! All areas were well maintained and clean. The 2 bathrooms in our suite could use more hooks. Maybe on the back of the door to put your clothes or wet towels. The tub in one bathroom is deep and great for relaxing. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. Loved the kitchen area with full fridge, toaster, toaster oven, microwave and 2 coffee makers. "

"The location is walkable to many shops, bars and restaurants. The location is on Thames so street traffic noise from cars and people coming home from a night out is something to be aware of. Off street parking is available which is a nice bonus. Communication with owner was a breeze. Some small attention to detail items would have elevated stay, such as more towels (kitchen too) and mirrors in bedrooms to get ready and allow to free up bathroom for showers. Overall positive stay. "

Each morning, we were treated to Mary’s magnificent breakfasts—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Beyond the food, Mary’s knowledge of the area was invaluable. Her touring recommendations helped us make the most of our time in Newport, guiding us to both popular attractions and hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The location of the bed and breakfast was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore everything Newport has to offer. Whether we were heading out for a day of sightseeing or an evening stroll, everything felt within reach. What truly stood out, though, was the feeling of comfort and connection. Mary created an atmosphere that made it feel like we were visiting a relative’s home rather than staying at a lodging. We will absolutely be booking with Mary again. In fact, our experience was so special that we’re already looking for another opportunity to return to Newport—just so we can stay here again."
