"There is native bush nearby, Haast is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. I have not seen a pool nor heard anyone talk about it. The room was tidy and quite clean. I found the man who helped us during check in and who works at the bar of the pub friendly and kind. Cleaning staff were using the vacuum cleaner before 8am, that was a bit early I found."
