Nice house, convenient location
We stayed over Mother's Day weekend. It was a lovely house with two large family areas and TVs in every room and access to our streaming apps.
We were disappointed the yard was not mowed w/tall weeds. Some of the deck is starting to fall apart. It wasn't suitable for the 3-year-old to run around in. However, the neighbors did say that the landscaping had been kept up last year. But knowing we were coming, it would have been nice to have at least sprayed for the weeds.
The sump pump hose has holes in it and leaked in the front yard and across the sidewalk. The front porch would be nice if the bushes were trimmed so there was a view. Outside needs some TLC.
Inside the house, the decor is very nice though dated. It was clean except for the kitchen drawers having mouse droppings, so we washed all the silverware, then the plates and cups as needed, and ate out. We booked for 5b adults and 1 child. There was one hand towel in the downstairs bathroom, one large towel and washcloth/handtowel in the main bath (but no hand soap, the container was empty) and two large towels, 2 washcloths, and a hand towel in the master bath.
I think whoever does the cleaning should be notified of these issues.
We were notified of the yard issue the day of our arrival. She said she lived close by if we needed anything but asked us to bring in the trash cans (knocked over full of water after rain.) We could only contact her via email, so if there had been an emergency, it might have been awhile.
