"Terrible experience. When we arrived it was occupied by someone else, who told us they had a long term rental. We called the manager, left messages, texted, all with no reply to any of it. We contacted VRBO twice and no help. We feel we were scammed and cancelled our credit card. We made a fraudulent claim on our credit card because we received no service for the money we spent!! We were also given the wrong door code and walked in on another family in a different apt."

"Felt the check in process was substandard. Did not get the details until 3:55pm and check in was at 4pm. And mind you this was on a busy friday in SoCA. Also despite multiple internet passwords, known worked. "

The complex, Village at Montclair, is also impressive: it's newly built, upscale, and includes a pool, gym, lounges, and nicely designed outdoor spaces. The unit was quiet. The host was responsive by message and kindly offered early check in. "Perfect location for our visit. Very close to the Claremont colleges. Super clean and a brand new facility. We used the pool and hot tub and the workout room, all lovely and in excellent condition. We will definitely stay here again!"
