« Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect! »

« Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the cabin. The cabin has everything you need, including games and toys for our grandson. The host was easy to reach and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. There is no wifi, but we were happy about that- we got to enjoy our family that much more. New River gorge is 20 mins away- so we were able to hike and visit town for coffee, ice cream etc. I would recommend to my friends and family for sure. »

« The cabin was absolutely perfect. It was just what we had hoped for. The area is secluded and woodsy but very well maintained around the cabin. The cabin it's self was lovely, cozy and clean! The beds were comfortable and the water pressures in the shower was amazing. Our vacation was awesome and the cabin was a big part of that experience. Would highly recommend and will absolutely stay again in the future. »

« This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place. »

« Very very nice- appreciate hot tub ready for every day- toilet paper and paper towel soap etc already available was real nice- consider a box of Kleenex would be a nice touch but that is not a complaint- directions on the fireplace would be nice unless it’s not meant to be used- thanks for being a very nice part of our beautiful trip »

« We loved the location. The only bad thing was the driveway was too steep to park on so you have to park at the bottom and carry everything up when you get there and down when you leave. The house was great and the views are even better. »

« We enjoyed how this property was tucked back a bit. We couldn’t see our neighbors which was nice. I also appreciated firewood being on the property. We got full use of the fire pit and grill. Parking was easy and it was easy to find the cabin. The check in and out were smooth. There were a couple of oddities but were extremely minor inconveniences. There is no dishwasher, and the bathroom door downstairs locks itself sometimes and only one of us could figure out how to unlock it. But overall...

« Extremely quiet and chill spot. One other tiny house and a couple RV hookups available, but no one else was on the property while I was there. Clean and had the kitchen extras for making my own food. Fridge has a small freezer on top, so that was super helpful. Only 15 mins from rafting companies. 10 mins from stores. I plan to stay here again when I'm in town for events. »

We forgot to bring coffee and thought we would have to buy it but we were pleasantly surprised to find coffee provided. Saved us a trip to the grocery store! Would definitely stay again!! »
