"Words do not do this hotel justice. The view from this 16th Century Fort, that has full, modern amenities, was beautiful. The courtyard that houses a cocktail & wine bar, along with a local food truck, was a perfect way to finish the day after walking throughout Lyon. The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was a lovely spread of local ingredients. There is a beautiful, outdoor breakfast area, that overlooks the Rhone river valley. "Hotel Mercure.Lyon Centre was a fantastic stay. So many positives! First and foremost…after travelling for 3 weeks, I had the best sleep at this hotel. It was quiet! Absolutely no street noise. I loved the location of the Hotel. It is within 5 minutes of a weekend Farmers Market. There were lots of shops, restaurants and French Grocery stores near by. Walking is easy with several pedestrian bridges available for crossing the river. I will happily return in the future.."
