"One of my favourite places I stayed while in Thailand for a month. Very clean and I loved my private room with the balcony. Great breakfast and the free beach shuttle was great. I did get woken up by nearby cockerels every morning but I didn't mind. The hostel didn't have a social vibe while I was there but I think that was more down to the people who were staying there at the time."

"Location is good with access to a secluded rock beach. Apart from that, there's several problems. The property is not finished and should not be operating. There's several safety hazards like exposed wires, and nail and screws in areas where you are meant to be walking barefoot. Dorms are on a mezzanine level and at night there's no light or protection so people fall and hurt themselves. "The room was super clean, the shower has hot water at all times and the decoration is really special. Even the bathroom looks great. The best was clean and comfortable. There is a big fridge in the room and a kettle. A/C works perfectly. I decided to book a full week after my first night. "I really enjoyed my stay at sandbank, I only booked 3 days there because I thought sleeping in a tent might get old quickly but I could easily have stayed The staff quickly realised I was on my own and encouraged me to take kayak and snorkel at heavily discounted prices.. Like I actual felt bad when I heard the real price They even let me go along with them on the grocery trip by boat to the main port and I saw such a beautiful sunset it was amazing.. They even both me beers while I waited...
