Gökgöl Cave 
Zonguldak, Turkey 
------Gökgöl Cave is 3350 meters long and the 2nd longest cave in Zonguldak and the 10th longest cave in Turkey. Carboniferous cave is about 350 million years old. The cave, which has an 875-meter walking path, has an underground depth rising during rainy periods. The underground level is poured into the Erçek stream with a natural siphon. The interior of the Gökgöl Cave is extremely rich in terms of dripstone accumulation. All kinds of dripstone formations (stalactites, stalagmites, columns, flag dripstones and pasta stalactites) are found in the cave. The sections of the cave from the entrance to the big depression hall are described as Fosil entrance, Astrum Hall, Harikalar Hall and Miracles

"Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable with heat and A/C. Service was excellent, and the food outstanding and the prices very good. (Be sure to order the meatballs - without question, they're the best I've ever had!) Best of all, however, was the staff. They bent over backward to accommodate us when I made an error in the booking dates. Very helpful, very gracious, and very accommodating. Ten stars!"
